Liberty Memorial Restoration

As the only nationally recognized memorial in the United States dedicated to World War I, Liberty Memorial is one of Kansas City’s most important and well-known landmarks. The much anticipated rededication of Liberty Memorial took place on May 25th, 2002. Broadway had electricians on-site during the entire restoration project that began in 2000. Our team of electricians handled all of the electrical service, power distribution and lighting for the project. We also coordinated the restoration and reinstallation of historical lighting fixtures. The museum facility required specialty lighting and dimming control systems for exhibit spaces, lobby areas, auditorium and exterior architectural highlights. Broadway is still involved in this multiphase project. In 2002, we won the Electric League’s First Place Lighting Award for the Liberty Memorial installation.
